BUILD A PROCESS

Trace the sperm pathway

Follow sperm from production to exit.

Build a process

Use the up and down buttons to build the sequence, then check your reasoning. Some biological events overlap; follow the simplified pathway described here.

  2. 2
    Ejaculatory duct
  3. 3
    Vas deferens
  4. 4
    Epididymis
  5. 5
    Seminiferous tubules
Read the complete pathway
  1. Seminiferous tubules. Spermatogenesis occurs in the testes.
  2. Epididymis. After passage through testicular ducts, sperm mature and are stored here.
  3. Vas deferens. Muscular contractions transport sperm.
  4. Ejaculatory duct. The vas deferens joins the seminal-vesicle duct.
  5. Urethra. Semen exits through the urethra during ejaculation.
